WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the charity Road March event (the "Event"), I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
I understand that participating in the Event involves risks of injury, including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, and the effects of the weather.
I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the Event.
I assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury or death, and I release and hold harmless the Event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and any other individuals or entities associated with the Event (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that may arise from any damage or injury to me or my property, including but not limited to, any alleged negligent act or omission of the Released Parties.
I agree to comply with all rules and instructions of the Event, and I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
MEDICAL TREATMENT:
I hereby grant permission to the Released Parties to provide medical treatment or first aid to me, if necessary, and I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
GOVERNING LAW:
This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska and any applicable federal laws of the United States.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT:
This Waiver and Release of Liability constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
I, the undersigned, have read and understand the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability, and I sign it freely and voluntarily.
